But engaging the Goddess archetype is within a place of “Desire without Values”. That is, unrestrained sexual desire. The Tease is unethical - she doesn’t care how the boys feel about being teased, she’s high on the power of using their desire against them. The Slut is unethical - she doesn’t care what she has to do, she just cares about getting her sexual desires fulfilled. When these merge into the transcendent Goddess archetype, Desire becomes guided by Values and thus transcends both Pride and Pridelessness. She is then neither status-seeking though the ungoverned manipulation of the desires of others, nor status-imploding through the ungoverned expression of her own desires.

In kink, the dominant inhabits the Shadow archetype of the Tease, while the submissive inhabits the Shadow archetype of the Slut. The submissive releases her inner slut, letting go of pride, accepting any humiliation for the sake of indulging her desires. The dominant manipulates the desires of the sub, using that desire against her to get her to do what he wants, no matter how humiliating.

Humiliation is a key aspect of this archetype. Unlike the Maiden/Saint/Whore archetype, which uses the themes of dirtiness, perversion, impurity, the Goddess/Tease/Slut archetype focuses on the humiliation of loss of status, lowliness, pridelessness, and ungoverned desire.

Although this isn’t a firm division, one can think of the Maiden as being willing to accept anything, no matter how impure; and the slut is willing to do anything, no matter how humiliating.

Insofar as there still exists a hierarchy of respect in society, it goes Men → Adult Women → Children → Pets → Objects. There are non-trivial reasons for this hierarchy, it is not random. It hinges on the willingness of society to allow an individual to bear consequences. A man who is being rude can be punched in the face; a woman or child is shielded from that consequence. A Child who is annoyingly rambunctious or underfoot will be lectured and punished in a way that a pet will not be.

A result of this social hierarchy is the common D/s theme of evoking humiliation by treating someone as lower down on that ladder. The humiliation, which ties directly into the slut archetype, uses the existing social hierarchy to enforce the loss of status.
